Welcome to our world!

My chinese name is Yin Ling and baby Minori's unofficial middle name is Yen. Both Yin and Yen mean swallow (as in the bird) in chinese. The same swallows that migrate to Malaysia in winter to escape the cold return to Japan when the weather begins to warm up. Like the swallows here, together with daddy, we make our trips between the two countries. Isn't it nice to have two places we can call home?

Thank you Uncle James!

Minori in the salsa dress that Uncle James sent through overnight FedEx from Melbourne. Por por says it looks like it's made of sari fabric. In any case, the colors are beautiful and she looks like she's going dancing on a hot summer day!

Minori has started this habit of rolling on floors, especially when she cannot get her way.

Here's a blur capture of her toothy grin. All her teeth seems to be catching up on growth... all popping at the same time.
