Swedish treats

Meatballs and shopping for a new toddler bed for M at Ikea. She recently went through a growth spurt and the crib that is supposed to take her to 3 years of age will soon no longer be able to comfortably contain her.

Demolished

It's finally gone. The house that daddy spent about half his life in. This family house was decaying and had reached its time years ago... the neighbors hadn't been happy about it. And now that it's finally down to make way for a new apartment unit, we can't help but feel a tinge of sadness. The neighbors are probably celebrating though.

By the river

Here are a few shots taken on a day out at the Tamagawa river. Daddy played soccer with a few of his soccer buddies on a field nearby and joined us later when M had already wet her bodysuit wading in the river (so she looks half-dressed in the photos).

(Pretend to) read

M has been observing how her daddy is always reading and has recently taken an interest in pretending to read herself. Hopefully next time we'll have a video of her ACTUALLY reading the contents of the book.

Soccer fans in da house

Not sure what it is with soccer that they are so fascinated about. M doesn't show this kind of enthusiasm when something graceful and feminine like figure-skating is on TV.
