Welcome to our world!

My chinese name is Yin Ling and baby Minori's unofficial middle name is Yen. Both Yin and Yen mean swallow (as in the bird) in chinese. The same swallows that migrate to Malaysia in winter to escape the cold return to Japan when the weather begins to warm up. Like the swallows here, together with daddy, we make our trips between the two countries. Isn't it nice to have two places we can call home?

Running around bottomless

Today daddy brought M to the west side of Tokyo. The drive was so long and the day so cold that M's diaper was stress-tested, and failed, when they got there. While daddy looked for a pair of new pants for M at the department store (we don't usually carry along a spare pair), M ran around the store bottomless. Daddy photographed this because he thougt it was funny. I hope the poor girl grows up with no recollection of this!
