My chinese name is Yin Ling and baby Minori's unofficial middle name is Yen. Both Yin and Yen mean swallow (as in the bird) in chinese. The same swallows that migrate to Malaysia in winter to escape the cold return to Japan when the weather begins to warm up. Like the swallows here, together with daddy, we make our trips between the two countries. Isn't it nice to have two places we can call home?
M has been observing how her daddy is always reading and has recently taken an interest in pretending to read herself. Hopefully next time we'll have a video of her ACTUALLY reading the contents of the book.

Hey! I didn`t know you had a blog!! Minori has grown SO much since I last saw any pictures of her. Looks like you guys had a blast during Chinese New Year in Malaysia- am very jealous as I haven`t made it there for that season since I was little.
