Welcome to our world!

My chinese name is Yin Ling and baby Minori's unofficial middle name is Yen. Both Yin and Yen mean swallow (as in the bird) in chinese. The same swallows that migrate to Malaysia in winter to escape the cold return to Japan when the weather begins to warm up. Like the swallows here, together with daddy, we make our trips between the two countries. Isn't it nice to have two places we can call home?

Spring at last!

For a moment there I thought it would never come. We've had such a warm winter so we thought we'd have an early spring. And then the temperatures took a sudden dip and it was cold all over again for a few days. But that didn't deter the flowers (and Minori).

These yellow flowers are so pretty to look at, and even better to eat. I like them best stir-fried with garlic!

We went to Mother Farm again this spring. No pictures of cows or sheep this time, just this queer little parking spot.

Doesn't Minori look great in that fuchsia-coloured outfit? In fact, stunning!
