Welcome to our world!

My chinese name is Yin Ling and baby Minori's unofficial middle name is Yen. Both Yin and Yen mean swallow (as in the bird) in chinese. The same swallows that migrate to Malaysia in winter to escape the cold return to Japan when the weather begins to warm up. Like the swallows here, together with daddy, we make our trips between the two countries. Isn't it nice to have two places we can call home?

Golden Week Day 2

Watching all those Yugata Quintet episodes have inspired M to try the piano ("Oh no," says daddy, "too low ROI! She should continue to perfect her ina bauer or go play some other kind of sport.")

And here's a win-win situation: Jiiji and baaba get clean carpets, M gets a lot of fun from rolling this dust-sticking roller.

Jiiji looks so happy having M with him. M is so blessed to have so many people showering love on her. H'er make sure she doesn't become a spoilt brat. There is only a thin line between doting on and spoiling a child.

Good that M shows interest in music. This interest should be nurtured as music is the food for the soul... (Even Shakepeare, the all-time greatest bard said "If music be the food of love, play on...")
